Domains

Domain name servers / NSSET

We recommend to use our NS servers ns1.mixhosting.cz and ns2.mixhosting.cz or set an NSSET (for .cz domain names) to MIX:NS, in order to comfortably manage DNS records from the client section. If you registered a domain name with us, it is already set.

If you set an NSSET, make sure to create a DNS zone for the domain name in the client section first.

  • NSSET: MIX:NS
  • NS 1: ns1.mixhosting.cz
  • NS 2: ns2.mixhosting.cz

Domain DNS records

To point your domain name to MIXhosting, use DNS records listed below. This is required if your domain name is not managed by us e.g when it was registered by some other hosting company.

  • IPv4 - A: 81.91.83.149
  • IPv6 - AAAA: 2001:1568:b:167::7
  • MX: mail.mixhosting.cz

Custom PHP settings

PHP settings are individual to each hosted domain. If you have specific requirements, reach out to us and tell us what you need to have configured differently. We will evaluate and tell you whether it is something that can be configured or not.

Error reporting

It is possible to display PHP error messages directly on a page even without access to the error log. Just put these commands in a PHP script that is loaded in every request to your application and it is also the first one.

ini_set("display_errors", "1");
ini_set("display_startup_errors", "1");
